PAIWAND means unity, which is our principal aim as an Afghan Community Organisation – to unite our refugee community and improve the quality of our community’s life in its new homeland, here in the United Kingdom.

That unity is encouraged and expressed through the provision of advice and support in respect of health issues, social services, education, counselling, career advice, translation services, welfare support, advocacy and legal issues and the promotion of Afghani arts, culture and traditions, as well as our native Pashto and Farsi languages - for people of all ages in our community - irrespective of their creed, spiritual and political beliefs or their social background.

The only requirement for membership is a desire to integrate and improve the quality of your life and those of your families and friends in your new adopted homeland.
