Paiwand regularly holds seminars and workshops on issues of health, housing, benefits, education and employment.

NEW WORKSHOPS FOR VOLUNTEERS

A comprehensive number of workshops are being organised by the Afghan Association Paiwand together with Barnet Refugee Service for volunteers and community members on Mondays and Fridays throughout the rest of the year.

The workshops cover a broad range of subjects including immigration & the asylum system, access to healthcare, housing, education and benefits entitlement, child protection, business enterprise, human rights, domestic violence, gender and racial equality, mental health care, working with young refugees, job search, guidance and advice, delivering ESOL classes and much more.

Media studies course
Date: statrs on 26th June 2009
Details:

Media studies course for young people aiming at higher education in media and journalism or work in local and community media.

The course is hold at Paiwand’s office and facilitated by the Finland’s contemporary Journalist Pia Heikkila.
